The table below shows the energy produced by different powers in 1990, 1996, and 2000.

Body paragraph 1
The three traditional sourcesaccounted for the vast majority ofenergy production across the three years. In 1990, oil wasthe largest source, generating 70.4 units, and this figurethenincreased steadily to77.2 units in 2000.Althoughnatural gasranked secondin the beginning (66.5 units), its outputplungedto merely 7.4 units in 1996 andreboundedto the highest level at 99.5 units in 2000,overtakingoil to becomethe dominant sourceof energy. Coalranked thirdthroughout the period, with its outputrising significantlyfrom 50.2 units in 1990 to 64.2 units in 2000.

The other two sourcesproduced considerably lessenergy. Hydraulic powerconsistently recorded the lowest figures,fluctuating slightly between0.3 and 0.5 units over the period. Nuclear powergenerated relatively more energy thanhydraulic power, rising from12.1 units in 1990to a peak of16.4 units in 1996, before declining moderately to14.5 units in 2000.

- hydraulic power:数值最低,在0.3 units和0.5 units之间波动
